DESCRIPTION:Please join the NTAA Monthly Membership Meeting for lunch and to meet our guest speaker Mitch Reitman\, who will be discussing sales tax within the alarm industry! \nTexas sales tax can be confusing. According to Texas Administrative Code 34 TAC §3.333(e)\, “charges for providing security services to property or persons located in Texas are subject to Texas sales tax.” However\, many CPAs are not familiar with this provision or with Texas Occupations Code §1702. \nAs a result\, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts has begun systematically auditing companies licensed with the Private Security Bureau (PSB). \nPlease REGISTER and join us for a great discussion and learning experience.
